About

Mark qualified as a Manx advocate in 1998 having trained at local firm Dickinson Cruickshank where he remained for a further 10 years. Mark was a partner within that firm’s private client and property departments for 7 years where he established his reputation for sound advice and a commercial approach. Following the establishment of Humphrey & Helfrich, Mark’s service has remained in demand and he acts for a wide range of the island’s prominent individuals and businesses advising on property, licensing, trusts and succession. Mark is consistently recommended as a ‘leading individual’ in relation to commercial property in leading legal directories and is retained for his extensive knowledge of local land law by clients both local and international.

Mark is also a member of the Isle of Man Licensing Forum, a non-governmental body which advises on policy and practice in relation to liquor licensing and is recognised as an expert in this area of law.

Mark’s practice also extends to advising on trust and family office matters advising local businesses and individuals in relation to this often complex area of law.

Mark’s extensive client base and commitment to service means that he advises on the full range of private and business issues working with clients to provide real, workable solutions to whatever problem is presented.
